If you are looking for some action thrill-seeker, holiday in South America should be at the top of your travel list. Cheaper than Africa, more exotic than North America, and wilder than in Europe, some continents are eligible for the diversity, accessibility and many breath-inducing activities in South America offers. There are many adventures to check if you dare.
Mount Roraima. Never saw the movie UP? The place wonderfully mysterious and majestic dream of visiting characters are real. It is called Mount Roraima in Venezuela. It is a remarkable plateau, surrounded by a huge 400 meters steep drop-offs. Access is difficult and should only be attempted by the more adventurous traveler, as it requires a trip of several days through the misty mountains. And of course, only traveling to Venezuela, where it can be difficult.
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. The Inca Trail walking tour is well traveled to Texas, but this is less surprising. This walk follows the original path is used by the Inca civilization to travel to Machu Picchu, which back in 1500 was a private retreat for the Inca royalty. The high altitude requires at least one day to adjust to Cuzco before leaving, and hikers can choose to have their own sources (such as tents, sleeping bags, and equipment), or wear a porter to hire them to perform their place.
