One of my favorite trails for hiking or a day of hiking is great Pamelia Lake Trail.Located in Mt. Jefferson Wilderness area just 63 miles from his Salem, Oregon on hi-way 22 to 12 miles outside the city of Detroit between 62 and 63 miles after watching a 2246 Pamelia sign off on the left side of the road and drive 3, 7 miles to park. The hike is 2.3 miles an easy climb along a beautiful waterfall Pamelia Creek and the majestic pine trees along the road. Pamelia Lake is there are other opportunities for walking. A footpath leads to Grizzly Peak lead with a panoramic view of the surroundings.
